Czech Open Faced Party Sandwich - "Chlebicky"
European Classic served at every party or special event as a snack or hors d'oeuvres. These beautiful and tasty treats are sure to be a party favorite.
Slices of baguette bread can be topped with any number of ingredients. These party favorites are typically topped with a variety of spreads then elaborately decorated with folds of deli meats, cheeses, fishes or vegetables. " BEEF AND DILL SAUCE WITH BABY POTATOES "

This meal is one of my personal favorites. One plate is usually not enough for me or my son, as we find ourselves in the kitchen asking for more sauce and anything to soak it up with. Beef bottom round slow cooked until tender, sliced and served on a layer of creamy dill sauce. This meal can be served with either Czech bread dumplings or boiled baby potatoes, the debate is on which is better. Either way the highlight of the meal is the abundance of the fresh and fragrant dill used in the sauce. Many Czech's substitute the beef for a few soft boiled eggs sliced in half, while others simply add the eggs along with the beef slices, which is the way I prefer it and we serve it. Excuse me while I see if it's ready!
