Taste of Prague - Czech Dinner

When it comes to cuisines, most people perceive an image when they hear "Italian Cuisine", "French" or "German Food", but many of us draw a blank when confronted with "Czech Cuisine". Those who have been to the Czech Republic, possibly Prague, know very well how delicious the meals are. Whether you have never tried a national czech dish, have Czech ancestry, or just have nostalgia and miss the cuisine, we invite you to join us for dinner and experience the authentic taste of the old world or bring back those fond delicious memories.  

 This is our first dinner event in the series and will feature a pre-fixed 4 course menu (soup, appetizer, main course and dessert), featuring a homage to Czech Dumplings. This is a BYOB event so bring your favorite wine or beer and enjoy a sampling of classic Czech dishes. Doors will open at 3:00 pm and dinner service will begin at 3:30 pm. Bring your loved ones and enjoy a Sunday family meal.  We look forward to sharing our heritage with you and your family.

Appetizer:

             Open Faced Party Sandwich ("Chlebíčky")

             Stuffed Portabella Mushroom ("Plněný žampiony")

Soup: 

             Cream of Mushroom Soup with Woodland Dumplings ("Krémová houbová polévka s knedliky") 

Main Course:

              Roast Pork, Czech Red Cabbage with Vienna and Potato Dumplings ("Vepro Knedlo Zelo") 

Dessert:

              Strawberry and Blueberry Dumplings with warm butter and whipped cream ("Ovocné Knedlíky")

              Apple Struddle ("jablečný štrúdl")

Drinks:

           Vienna Coffee, Tea, Juice and Soda, BYOB
