About the Event
The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York is pleased to present the Rozálie US Tour, which will be taking place in New York – Bohemian National Hall (Nov. 17), Philadelphia – Four Green Cats Café (Nov. 19) and Washington DC – Kennedy Center (Nov. 22).
Rozálie Havelková is a multi-talented artist, who has captivated audiences with her unique blend of music and performance. As well as being a charismatic singer, accordionist, actress and dancer, Rozálie’s song-writing skills were recently recognized with a nomination for the prestigious Czech music award, Ceny Anděl, with her debut album Korzetiér. The Ceny Anděl is the most prestigious music award in the Czech Republic and recognizes outstanding achievements in the music industry.
With her talent for anecdotal story-telling, Rozálie introduces and explains her songs with her uniquely raw candor and playful irony, laced with cynical romance. Her charming authenticity and vulnerability continue…
